What Is The Culture

Thanks for joining us at the Las Vegas Coffee Culture Magazine. I'd like to invite you back here on a weekly basis to get a healthy dose of inspiration, encouragement, challenges and of course the best in coffee and tea stuff. I know it seems like a lot to put on one plate but if you are like me and the rest of our readers and folks who come into shops all around town you are used to doing a lot.

You see coffee people are totally different than most everyone else. You are a special breed of individual. On a scale of 1-10 you are at a 15+. Let me give you an example of what I mean.

In our shop in Las Vegas, we have a book shelf. Nothing so special about the bookshelf itself. It has hundreds of titles on it. Some notable, some not so much. We have fiction and my favorites all lean towards the self-help, motivational or business bent. Every day people come into the store. Invariably they make their way over to the bookshelf. Of course most of the titles are for sale. They pick up this one, put it back. Pick up that one, linger over the pages and inevitably they ask, "Can I purchase this one?" You're probably already ahead of me, being the coffee person that you are. That's right. They've of course picked up the self-help, business or motivational titles that are not for sale on the shelf.

Coffee people are a breed that are always looking to be inspired, challenged and moving forward. It is reflected in the books they read, the cars that they drive and the activities that they participate in when they have free time.

My good friend, we'll cal him Ryan, is a pilot, drives a fancy British sports car and of course is looking for that Mrs. Right to spend the rest of his life with. But she has to be adventurous, with a thirst to share her life with a man who equally has a zest for life.

Yes, you are a special breed of people and as we continue to bring you stories and events in the coming months and years, I hope that you share your life with us so that other people can get it, just like you got it. You are part of the Coffee Culture of Las Vegas. Viva Las Vegas...
